Here's
a 1963 Riviera (first year) that I had a few years back. I bought her from
my brother, who picked her up from Ed at Ed's Auto Salvage in Westlock, Alberta
(not online as far as I know ).
Red leather interior, tilt steering, power windows and door locks, 401-4V (Carter AFB carb; US models had mostly Rochester 4GC carbs).
Aside from spoked wheels and wide whites, she was mostly original. Today, she is somewhere in Australia; the only one in the state, I'm told.
If you see her, let me know.
Here is a view of the interior:
This
was the last year for the Super-Turbine 300 trans, with its oddball shift
pattern. Note the floor shift.
Brushed aluminum graced the dash and glovebox. Very stylish.
All in all, one of the finest cars I've owned.
